HAMWORTHY United seem set to receive a four-month ground grading grace period after reaching an in-principle agreement to replace a condemned stand.
The only seated stand at the County Ground, leased by the Hammers from the Dorset FA, was immediately shut following a structural survey in February.
That aside, the Step 4 newcomers had passed a ground inspection to remain in Southern League South and be able to compete in this season’s playoffs less than a year after being crowned Wessex League champions.
