Extra-time please, to make it fair

I HAVE to disagree with Martin Waring (Fans’ Forum, April 2) in respect of the FA Trophy and FA Vase semi-finals going to extra-time and/ or penalties.
I’m a Barnet fan, so you would expect me to have something to grumble about to explain our exit from the FA Trophy last Saturday.
But this is a wider issue. It is surely unfair to reduce a semi-final encounter to one leg, play that one leg at the home ground of one of the sides, and simultaneously drop extra-time.
