ROAD TO GLORY: Dawley Town parade their trophy on their scaffolding lorry

STEP 7 champions Dawley Town staged a victory parade with a difference – on board an open-backed scaffolding lorry!
The Jockeys took to the streets of the village in style after cruising to the Shropshire County League Premier Division title.
But after failed attempts to hire a open-top bus, the Dawley players opted for a less than traditional method of transport as they proudly held aloft the trophy along Dawley High Street, while releasing blue flares, ticker tape and confetti as they passed tens of cheering spectators lining the pavements.
Dawley remained unbeaten throughout the season, winning 25 and drawing just one of their 26 games.
They won the league by a 10-point margin ahead of runners-up Ludlow.
