MACAULAY Langstaff hailed goalscorer rival Paul Mullin after scooping the Player of the Year award at the National League AGM.
Langstaff, 26, scored an incredible 42 goals as Notts County finished runners up to Wrexham before sealing promotion through the play-offs.
But he was pushed all the way by Mullin, who bagged 38 league goals and 47 in all competitions for Phil Parkinson’s Dragons.
