CHRIS MAGUIRE has been giving the opportunity to resurrect his career, by National League promotion hopefuls Eastleigh.
The 34-year-old striker spent much of his time playing in the Football League before his career ground to a halt last year when he was charged by the FA for breaching betting rules.
The Scot was alleged to have placed 52 bets on football matches between March 2017 and February 2022, admitting to placing one five-team accumulator at his local bookies.
