WEALDSTONE produced a brilliant second half comeback to overturn Michael Morton’s ten-man York City.
A penalty from Max Kretzschmar, along with a superb late strike from Jaydn Mundle-Smith cancelled out Dipo Akinyemi’s first-half strike to hand Stuart Maynard’s men a win on the opening day.
Wealdstone assistant Matt Saunders said: “It was a brilliant win and we’re incredibly proud of the players.
“The first half was manic and we needed to be calm at half-time and provide answers for the players.
