LET’S BE UNITED AGAINST RACISTS

THE chairman of the Midland Football League has called for clubs to unite against the perpetrators of racial abuse – but to try and hold off on abandoning matches.
Three separate reports of racist remarks emanating from members of the crowd at MFL matches have been reported across an eight-day period with two matches abandoned.
Highgate United declined to play the second half of a Premier Division clash at Atherstone Town on Tuesday after Wednesfield walked off during a Division One match at Droitwich Spa last Saturday.
