IT wasn’t so long ago Harborough Town played in a three-sided ground with a sloping grass pitch that regularly flooded.
In many ways, that was the least of their problems. Mis-managed, fragmented, youth teams scattered around the town, haemorrhaging money and even in breach of funding agreements; closure was effectively less than 48 hours away.
