MITCH WALKER knew it was a bad news phone call when the doctor asked him to sit down first.
“As soon as he told me, my knee started hurting,” Walker says, looking back to that day in April 2022. The former regular England C goalkeeper had a full ACL and meniscus rupture, picked up in a National League game for Aldershot Town.
