COV’S SAD AT DEMISE OF ROCKS

LEGENDARY boss John Coventry says it came as no shock to him that his beloved East Thurrock United went into liquidation.
The Rocks announced last week that the club was to close up its senior ranks and pull out of the Isthmian League, owing to historic debts.
Coventry managed East Thurrock for 13 seasons, before walking away from the role three years ago, and could not hide his disappointment.
