ONE TO VISIT: Clay Cross Town FC

I’VE just got back from a most enjoyable trip to Mill Lane, home of Northern East Counties new boys Clay Cross Town FC.
It was my first visit and what a great little set-up they have there.
I got a great welcome from the two Lees on the gate – both so knowledgeable and passionate about the club. The food cabin was excellent and the programme one of the best I’ve seen at Step 6.
Visitors Louth Town edged the game 1-0 but an enjoyable day was had all round.
