HEDNESFORD TOWN owner Hayden Dando has thanked fans for turning up in their numbers – and reiterated the football club is up for sale for a nominal £1 fee.
Dando, who had previously been vice-chairman, stepped in this summer to keep the Pitmen going.
The Staffordshire outfit, who were relegated from Step 3 last season, had announced they were withdrawing from the National League System following the collapse of a takeover.
But, at the 11th hour, Dando put his hand up to keep the proud Non-League club going and their resignation was rescinded.
