SHAKERS LAUNCH APPEAL

BURY are contesting a decision by the North West Counties League to fine them £100 and dock three points for fielding an ineligible player.
The Shakers have given notice to appeal a league management committee decision and no sanctions will take effect until it has been heard.
The player concerned, said to be contracted to another club, has not been named, while the volunteer involved in the transfer is no longer working with the club,
