CITY JOB NOT COOK-ED YET

RETURNING Gloucester City manager Mike Cook says he has unfinished business with the Tigers. Cook replaces Tim Flowers, who was axed along with assistant Yan Klukowski following the 1-0 defeat to Farsley Celtic that left them with just one win in nine National League North games. Former Chippenham Town manager Cook – aformer player, assistant and boss at the club – guided City to Step 2 safety in 2020 and re-joins from Swindon Town Women. Also returning is Cook’s assistant Marc McGregor, while Andy Hoskins has been appointed first team coach.
