ALVECHURCH have sacked manager Ian Long – despite seeing him as the most successfjul boss in the club’s history.
Long returned to the club for a second spell at the helm during the 2019/2020 season having departed Stourbridge, and led them to the play-offs in 2021/22 and the second round of the FA Cup.
But two wins in eight matches has seen his tenue at Lye Meadow come to an end.
