Russ Wilcox says he’s ready for the challenge of leading Gainsborough Trinity’s revival.
The vastly experienced boss succeeds Neal Bishop with the club fourth bottom of the NPL Premier table following a slow start to the new campaign.
Wilcox, who guided Scunthorpe United to League One in 2014 by going 28 games unbeaten, left Farsley Celtic in the summer having twice helped the club avoid relegation in a powerful National League North division.
