I WISH to defend Brian Cuttell’s dilemma in the “cash v card” argument at football grounds (NLP Sep 10). We are constantly being told clubs want to be “inclusive” and “non-discriminatory” but a refusal to accept cash is exactly what they are doing. It stops young people from going to local games on their own as well as older people who don’t want to be brow-beaten into a cashless society.
