WHEN Holmesdale snatched a dramatic last-gasp winner against Fisher last weekend, pandemonium promptly erupted at their Oakley Road home. But that wasn’t the only outpouring of joy.
Four hundred miles away from south London, glasses, or should that be steins, were being raised to toast the Dalers’ exploits, courtesy of a rather unique new link-up.
At the start of this season, Step 5 Holmesdale announced a football partnership with German amateur side HSV Neuwied, who are based between the cities of Frankfurt and Cologne.
