ANDY Dawson and Lee Whitehead have returned to Maltby Main to help save the Northern Counties East Premier side from relegation.
Dawson and Whitehead quit as joint managers in May when a new chairman came in, but agreed to return to Muglet Lane in the Miners’ hour of need, with Maltby marooned in the bottom two.
They have replaced manager Jamie Smith who resigned along with his coaching team of Miguel Llera, Simon Kelly and Brad Anson.
