HEMEL HEMPSTEAD Town were so pleased to appoint Bobby Wilkinson as new manager – they let him start early! The Tudors have had a tough National League South season that only saw their Step 2 status secured in the week. Former Woking and Dartford boss Alan Dowson had been holding the fort following Bradley Quinton’s departure in March. On Wilkinson, a club statement said: “His impressive CV includes successful promotions and notable achievements, demonstrating his ability to deliver results even in the most difficult of circumstances.”
