NO FEWER than 319 Non-League clubs from Step 1 to Step 4 in the National League System participated in this season’s Isuzu FA Trophy, including 18 who were involved in it for the first time ever.
Of those starting their maiden campaigns in the first qualifying round, it was Walsall Wood who went the furthest, eventually losing 2-0 to Coalville Town in the third round after having already won through five ties.
