WALSALL Wood manager Ian Long has vowed to put ‘bums on seats’ with two statement signings as he looks to guide the NPL Midlands side to promotion.
The former Alvechurch boss has swooped on his former club to snap up attacking midfielders Nick Clayton-Phillips and Jack Concannon, both 24.
Clayton-Phillips worked his way through the academy at West Brom and had three years as a pro at The Hawthorns during which time he spent loan spells at Braintree Town, Kidderminster Harriers and Solihull Moors.
