National League key dates for 2024/25 season confirmed

National League

Fixtures for the National League, National League North and National League South will be announced on Wednesday July 10 as confirmed by the official National League website.

The confirmed date is exactly a month before the 2024/25 campaign begins.

The North and South divisions finish on Saturday April 26 – with the National division ending on Bank Holiday Monday May 5.

Fixtures will be scheduled on New Year’s Day with clubs able to switch to New Year’s Eve if both clubs reach an agreement to do so.

Historically, the Christmas and New Year schedules are reversed, in that the Boxing Day matches are reversed with New Year’s Day, therefore playing the same team in a close timeframe.

After surveying all clubs, the National League Board agreed that the League will reverse next season’s Boxing Day fixtures with Good Friday and New Year with Easter Monday.

Confirmed key dates for the 2024/25 season:
Fixture Release Day – Wednesday 10 July
Opening Day – Saturday 10 August
North/South Closing Day – Saturday 26 April
National Closing Day – Monday 5 May
