EYRIE the Eagle has found himself a new job for the summer – helping to lay down Bedford Town’s new 3G pitch!
The Eagles’ mascot got his talons dirty as diggers moved in to transform the pitch into an all-weather surface in time for the start of the new season.
And it’s become a race against time as the club’s involvement in the end-ofseason play-offs meant a two-week delay in the work being started.
