GATESHEAD maintained their winning record in pre-season as they handed out a seven-goal humbling to former rivals Blyth Spartans at Croft Park.
Free-scoring Heed, who have hit 18 goals in their four warm-up games, also hit the woodwork twice, Blyth’s only two efforts at goal wayward ones in the final 10 minutes.
