WISECRACKS aimed at a lycra-clad commercial manager ended up inspiring a mammoth fundraising effort between Step 3 rivals situated almost 200 miles apart – and it might happen all over again.
Bromsgrove Sporting’s commercial guru Matt Foden responded to playful stick over rocking up at a pre-season friendly in his cycling gear by vowing to pedal his way to last month’s Southern League Premier Division Central fixture at Lowestoft Town.
