FAN GETS VALE OUT OF AN XL DILEMMA

FOOTBALL fans often prize match-worn shirts from their favourite players, but at Raynes Park Vale it’s the players cherishing a fan-worn shirt.
The Isthmian League South Central promotion chasers have welcomed former Millwall centre-back Jake Goodman from fellow Step 4 side Hythe Town.
However, with Goodman eager to make his debut, Vale discovered they only had size medium and large match shirts left – none of which fitted the 6ft 2ins defender’s frame.
