ROLE: Caroline Barker

SKY Sports presenter and Non-League broadcaster Caroline Barker has been invited onto the board of her beloved Chelmsford City.

The face of Sky’s coverage of the Women’s Super League and founder of the BBC Non-League Football Show, Barker has been drafted in by the Clarets as a non-executive director and brings a wealth of experience having also been a board member of the National League.

Barker said: “Chelmsford City is part of my family, and with Spencer returning and the new direction of the club, it’s brilliant to be part of helping the Clarets root back in the community and watching the club grow together.”

Chairman Spencer Gore said: “We are so pleased to have her working with us on this exciting journey. Her experience of elite sport combined with her passion for the club make her an ideal addition.”
