RHYS Griffiths had to watch Penybont’s 1-0 home win over Connah’s Quay Nomads from a Portacabin after picking up a touchline ban and must have thought it was enough to take his side back to the top of the JD Cymru Premier league.
While his team were celebrating their victory thanks to a 54th minute goal from Keyon Reffell, Griffiths cast his eye over the score from title rivals The New Saints. At that stage they were drawing 1-1 at home against Newtown.
