MATT Rhead and Tom Pope both carved out fine careers as top strikers – now they are joining forces to form a deadly partnership, in the dugout!
The two former Football League goal-getters have been placed in joint charge of NPL West strugglers Kidsgrove Athletic after the departure of boss Anthony Malbon was confirmed this week.
Rhead, 40, began his career with Kidsgrove in 2004 before peaking in the Football League with Mansfield Town and Lincoln City.
