A BLUES’ TWOS ON THEIR WAY

STRUGGLING Northern League side Thornaby have parted company with manager Bobby Coltman and his number two Shane Gavin.
Coltman took charge at Teesdale Park in January and led Thornaby to promotion from Division Two with a playoff final victory over Jarrow.
However, the Stockton-based Blues have taken just nine points from their opening 12 games, leaving them second from bottom in the table.
A club statement read: “Progress has stalled in recent months and the club feels it needs to act now in order to keep pace with our ambitions.”
