Mickey Spillane says Cambridge City offer everything he could wish for in his first crack as a manager.
The 36-year-old has been appointed the Isthmian North outfit’s new boss, succeeding Jamie Cureton.
Spillane – the former Norwich City, Luton Town, Cambridge United and Lowestoft Town defender – has left his role as Chelmsford City’s assistant manager to take the job.
He says it was too good an opportunity to turn down – and he’s excited to be a number one.
