TY ENSURES IRON SHOW METTLE IN TITLE RACE

TY Sellars-Fleming’s first-half strike proved decisive as Scunthorpe United kept the pressure on their rivals at the top of the National League table by beating Yeovil.
The forward struck from just a few yards out in the 22nd minute as the Iron’s pressing persistence forced the Glovers into a mistake at the back.
Victory was the Iron’s sixth in nine games at the Attis Arena this season, and their points tally of 36 after 17 matches is more than they managed during the entire campaign when they were last at Step 1 three seasons ago.
