FROM a game of FIFA to a La Liga link up. Grass roots club South East Athletic are to celebrate their 20th anniversary in style – with a link-up to Spanish giants Osasuna!
It comes as a result of a remarkable story which saw a long-running copyright saga turn into a cross-border friendship, centred around the Londoners’ early choice of club crest.
The issue was first raised after the Spaniards discovered that South East Athletic had adopted the crest of Osasuna as their own, selected after a random game of the popular computer game FIFA.
