DIAMONDS PROBE LEADS TO INDEFINITE FAN BAN

AFC Rushden & Diamonds say they have imposed an indefinite ban against a supporter after they were identified for allegedly aiming sexist remarks at a female referee.
The Northamptonshire club launched an internal investigation after their match at Coventry Sphinx on Saturday was called off at half-time after a derogatory comment was heard from the crowd.
Witness statements was gathered from supporters of both clubs, whilst officials reviewed video recordings and the referee’s report to identify the culprit.
