LEE MARTIN has thanked the Ramsgate players for helping him land the gaffer’s job permanently – and making his kids proud!
The 38-year-old won two and drew one in a three-game interim manager spell at the Isthmian Premier outfit.
Martin had returned to Southwood as player-coach under Ben Smith after his was sacked by Welling United after just 13 games in charge.
The former Manchester United, Ipswich and Millwall midfielder was part of Ramsgate’s Isthmian South East title triumph last season before taking his first steps into management.
