ALDERSHOT Town have issued a strong statement dismissing what they describe as “malicious” misinformation circulating on social media.
Rumours spread online suggested the National League outfit were in financial trouble, prompting concern among supporters.
But the club have now moved to address the situation directly, insisting the claims are entirely false and traceable to a single source.
