Manager John Coleman admits he is cautiously optimistic about Aldershot Town turning a corner after Deane Wood took over as owner and chairman of the struggling National League club.
Shahid Azeem's 12-year tenure as chairman – the longest in the club's history – came to an end after he and long-standing director John Leppard wrote off their entire loans to the club and transferred their shares to Wood at no cost.
