LILLYWHITES ARE HALTED

WESTERN League Premier basement side AFC St Austell have had their fixtures suspended.
The Lillywhites have lost all of their 23 games so far in their second season at Step 5 and have now been barred from using their Poltair Park ground by Cornwall Council, due to safety concerns over the grandstand.
The club, which leases Poltair Park from the council, has no alternative venue, and it was not possible to switch the arranged February fixtures to their opponents’ grounds.
