SABURI Olayinka Adeniji, the King’s Park Rangers player who touched the heart of the nation after suffering a severe brain stem injury, has passed away.
And devastatingly, his wife and four-year-old daughter arrived in the UK from Nigeria just too late to say goodbye despite a huge fundraising effort.
The Step 6 club confirmed yesterday: “He fought so hard to still be here for when his family arrived.
