COCKFOSTERS WON 5-4 ON PENS
PENALTY KINGS Cockfosters sent the holders Whitstable out of the competition to book a place in the last eight for the first time in their history.
It was the fourth time in six FA Vase matches that Spartan South Midlands League Cockfosters have needed a penalty shoot-out to progress but they held their nerve to stun a 1,547 strong crowd into virtual silence.
Goalkeeper Connor Sansom did not need to save a spot-kick with Whitstable’s Theo Osinfolarin sending his penalty kick over the crossbar.
