England C final 16-man squad to take on Cymru C revealed

England C

England C boss Paul Fairclough has confirmed his final squad to take on Cymru C at Altrincham next week.

The Three Lions chief named a 25-man provisional squad last week that has now been whittled down to 16.

England are looking for revenge against Mark Jones’ side – made up of players from the JD Cymru Premier – following last year’s 4-0 humbling in Caernarfon.

Solihull Moors attacker Joe Sbarra played in that game and is the only player in this squad previously capped.

There is also a place for National League top scorer, Macaulay Langstaff. The Notts County striker has scored 36 goals this season. Wrexham forward Sam Dalby also gets the nod.

Fairclough hasn’t picked more than one player from any club, sensitive to their needs at this stage of the campaign.

Tickets for the game on Tuesday evening are on sale now direct from Altrincham
