OWEN POLLITT’S late winner gave Maine Road victory in this all-North West Counties Premier Division tie.
The hosts took a lucky lead when a quick free-kick by Connor Hughes was helped into his own net by a defender. The visitors were soon back on level terms when Mike Koral was on hand to turn a high cross home at the far post.
Maine Road regained the lead courtesy of a breakaway goal finished off by Matt Morgan. And they looked likely winners until Koral broke the offside trap after half-time and set up Jordan Johnson to level.
