BANBURY got back to winning ways as they despatched Thatcham Town to progress to Monday’s draw.
Thatcham defender Henry Owen nearly put his ball in his own net from a Tom Winters cross.
Banbury took the lead with three minutes of the half left when a free kick from Winters into the Thatcham box saw a looping header by captain Luke Parnell to score.
In the second half Banbury didn’t allow Thatcham to settle and made it number two on 47 minutes.
