■DEREHAM let slip a halftime lead and missed numerous chances to be knocked out of the cup.
The Magpies had their first chance in the 11th minute when Danny Beaumont was upended just outside the box, with the inform striker drilling the resultant free kick into the bottom corner.
Boston came within inches of an equaliser when Jason Field’s thunderous 30 yard drive clipped bar.
Dereham were made to pay for their missed chances as Boston equalised against the play, Ben Davison’s 25- yard drive taking a deflection deceiving Elliot Pride.
