EBBSFLEET left the FutureFuel Stadium breathing a sigh of relief after a hard-fought, entertaining goalless draw with South Division neighbours East Thurrock.
Fleet started well and pushed their hosts back, forcing an early save from Lukas Lidakevicius, but they couldn’t make the pressure tell and Rocks came back into the game.
In the closing moments of the first half, Fleet’s captain Danny Kedwell had the ball in the back of the net but the effort was ruled out for off-side, clearly flagged well before he struck for goal.
