ST ALBANS CITY 1 BOREHAM WOOD 3

BOREHAM WOOD eased passed nearneighbours St Albans City at Clarence Park.
The hosts started brightly but it was Boreham Wood who opened the scoring in the 13th minute after Tom Gardiner was adjudged to have tripped Shaun Jeffers. Bruno Andrade stepped up and placed the penalty low to the left of the diving Dean Snedker.
Wood doubled their lead prior to the break when Balanta found Jeffers and the wide-man saw his strike deflect over Snedker.
