Bay hold on after penalty mistake

IN A classic game of two halves Whitley Bay just managed to progress in the FA Cup.
The Seahorses were three up when they missed a penalty just before the break.
That lifted Thackley, who forced their way back into an entertaining tie only to just fall short.
Jack Foalle, set up by Jack Cooper, gave Bay a 13th minute lead. Peter Glen- Ravenhill then chipped the keeper from 15- yards after good work from Luke Salmon.
And it was Salmon who made it three just before the break with a first-time finish from Ryan Redford’s cross.
