BARTON ROVERS 3 ROTHWELL CORINTHIANS 2

■ A DOUBLE from Barton Rovers’ man of the match Victor Osubu put his side into the hat for the next round draw.
Rothwell Corinthians came very close to opening the scoring before Rovers went ahead after six minutes when Osubu’s free-kick from the left was missed by all and nestled in the back of the net.
Visiting captain Lewis Odell made a good run down the Barton right before firing home the equaliser but Osubu capitalised on an error by Rothwell keeper Martyn Thorpe to put Rovers ahead in the 71st minute.
