THE WHEATLEY RISES TO SEE OFF THE CHAT

SKIPPER Luke Wheatley struck to fire Ramsgate to victory over Kent rivals Chatham Town.
In the seventh minute, a wellworked move saw Tom Chapman slot home with the outside of his right foot.
In the second-half, Chatham came out the brighter of the two teams and looked to press in search of an equaliser, Jack Mahony forcing a near post save from Luke Watkins in the Ramsgate goal.
But the 64th minute saw Ramsgate press forward, forcing a corner that was played to the back post, where Wheatley leapt and headed home.
